A really good idea! I can think of umpteen places or situations in which these could be used - some of which are in our own home - and The Man is just going to love the idea I have for his, lol! Plus, of course, one each for the 4 children for their bicycles....the list keeps growing!

The portable hanging up holder is such a great idea for anyone using a walker or even a wheelchair or even for a persons bicycle. I love that you can make it to whatever size you need by just finding something round to trace the size you need. You can even customize it with their initals or embellish it with their favorite things. Great for making for gifts for a nursing or assisted living Christmas gifts.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this project. I currently have to use a walker and I have tried several different ways on my own to fashion a cup holder and haven't had much success at it . I'm not at all sure if my limited sewing skills are adequate to make this, but I'm sure that my daughter's are.

Such a practical project. I think I would adjust the depth of the holder to accommodate a bottle or water cooler size that is more universal, or custom, if I knew the type of bottle, etc the recipient uses most. For kids you could embellish with some ric rac, an animal face, balloons or buttons, etc, or even their name! Love it, practical and fun project!

What a great idea for grandparents or people with mobility issues. You can hang it from the armrest of a chair, a wheelchair, or a walker. It's outside the box, but still cute!
