How to Make Your Photo Props

Instructions

  1. Using the templates, cut out two of each image on felt. For the statue, cut one pipe cleaner to fit from the head to the bottom. Use a dab of hot glue at either end to keep the pipe cleaner in place.

  2. Next, add pipe cleaners around the thought bubble. You can use a few more dabs of hot glue, making sure they are small so that they won’t get in the way when sewing. Stitch these in place using a zig zag stitch.

  3. Now, top-stitch all the props together. I added a few polka dots and stripes to the bow-ties.

  4. Use hot glue again to attach the dowels to the back of the props. The statue should stand up with the pipe cleaner inside, so you can choose whether or not you add a dowel. I chose not to add one.

  5. The last step is to go ahead and add heat transfer vinyl to the speech bubble. I added the words ”I would like to thank…”
