Ironic Tote Bag

Ironic Tote Bag

"This tote bag is both a useful fashion accessory, and a commentary on materialism. I used tags and labels from discarded clothing to make a tote bag that really makes a statement! The entire bag is made from recycled materials and thread. Aside from the obvious clothing labels, the body and lining of the bag is made out of scraps from an upholstery shop, and the handles are upholstery scraps and pallet straps that were used to hold cartons together for shipping. This bag really embodies my love of upcycling, recycling, and refashioning discarded materials to make something useful!"
