When my son got married they wanted a certain color of Dark Teal for the ring bearer, beat man and ushers that we could not find anywhere so I made all the vests and bowties. The sizes ranged from a large in boys to an extra large in men's. That was something special to see my sons face when they were all done because they go the perfect that they wanted. It is nice sometimes to be able to do these things and sometimes if it is not available you have to make it yourself or hire it out which is very costly. This is a good tutorial and everyone can do it but vest do take some time a patience but the finished product is so rewarding. I would use a store bought pattern if you are beginning but use this tutorial as your guide because it is easier to understand. Happy sewing.
