Wile that i REALLY cute and fun looking That looked like WAY to much work i've made my little girl Tutus in solid colorsa in a rainbow and that was in shades of blue shade of gray and shade of blue sparkle for a blue water fairy costume the cost of each about the time for each about min and the waist band on my daughters i left a small opening on the inside with a button on the elastic making it longer then needed an made button holes in the elastic like they do in kids pants to tighten the waist so i could make it bigger and if it needs to be fuller you just simpley add more Tulle on to it I even made one for myself in back and red wich i have seen on site such as etsy and Ebay for over mine was about and…Read More went to my ankles and is the PUFFYEST thing ever mine took about an hour and wile i'd love to make something like this i just dont think she'd like it as much a her beloved tutu's i'm not saying this is not gourgous i just think its a little TO much work exp for a childs item that may get tore up if they play rough with the tutus i could bring them out when her friends come over and they can use them for dressup and if they spill on it or rip it no big deal with this the time and effort and the material expenc i'd be worried about her spilling or ripping it maybe it's just me oh well cute but not for me i guess

Fantastic job on the directions for the pettiskirt. Thanks for the link to supplies, that will surely be easier than cutting a strip 2 inches by 360 inches!!! Can't wait to make it. NCnonnie

Not nearly as difficult or as time consuming as I thought it would be. I used tulle as I had heaps lying around. I made one that will fit my 7 month old for a couple of years for only NZD$6.00 !!!
