Caring for vintage or heirloom fabrics in tablecloths, ladies hankies, clothes or quilts can be a challenge. Many times, vintage items have been hand embroidered and especially the fibers delicate due to their age. The instructions given on how to wash and dry these items is much appreciated. I will give these directions a try to clean a 50-year-old hand embroidered quilt.

When I click on the tutorial link on cleaning vintage fabrics, it links to an advertisement for National college. Is it supposed to?
