Why can't I print out the template to make the ornaments? I tried, but nothing shows on the print screen.

This is a great pattern and can be adapted for smaller children by using felt or paper with punch holes and using yarn to sew it together. I have made these using feathers as embellishments and trying some with a non -contrasting thread for a different look. These make great stocking stuffers, but then I would use a decorative stitch on the sewing machine if I am making several and need to get them done quickly. There is a lot of versatility in that you can do a similar project using other animal silhouettes to suit the recipient such as a dog, cat, squirrel, etc. also a fun way to dig into your button stash!

I was delighted to see these lovely felt doves still popular as ornaments. I made a pair years ago and they still adorn my holiday tree every year. They are truly quick and easy to make. The blanket stitch in a contrasting color around the edges adds to their homespun charm.

I just learned how to sew little felt critters, so maybe this is something I could try!! They look pretty easy, and they're absolutely adorable

CUTE! My mom would love these ornaments!
