"This gorgeous quilted cushion cover uses simple strip piecing to give it a beautifully complex finish. It is particularly effective when using coordinated fabric strips, such as a jelly roll. Suitable for the confident beginner."

This cushion is so beautiful that it is tugging at me to start quilting already! FIlled with all sorts of doubts about my abilities, I have been delaying taking the plunge into the world of quilting. I went to one quilting group meeting where I was the total novice in a group of really advanced quilters. Perhaps I should have stuck it out - there was certainly no lack or advice or assistance. Anyway this Quilted Cushion is going to be the perfect project for me to wet my feet on. Wish me luck, lol!

I cant imagine a design more pleasing to the eye than this quilted cushion! The ombr palette creates such a delightful gradient from bottom to top, and the professional product is worth the little extra color planning. Another plus? Since it has many shades of a single color, this pillow is sure to match any home color swatch no more agonizing about slightly off hues!

One can never have enough pillows and this one is absolutely gorgeous! I especially love the colors used. This tutorial is being saved and I would like to try it one day! Thanks for sharing your idea!

I've just started quilting and have completed only two small projects. This is beautiful and I feel confident enough to try it. I might just make some pillows rather than a pillow cover. I've never used a jelly roll of fabric, but now I know what I can do with one!
