Buttons may seem easier to add to DIY purses, but snaps often look more polished. If you're unsure of how to apply them, magnetic snaps are not as difficult to use as they look. This tutorial on How to Add Purse Snaps in 5 Minutes includes pictures with the step-by-step instructions so you can easily upgrade your easy purse pattern from basic to fabulous. You'll only need a few supplies, such as a small craft knife and needle-nose pliers. This tutorial will take the uncertainty out of applying purse snaps, and you'll be able to use the lesson for many other projects.

I remember I was so afraid of using these snaps in a purse but I was determined to do so because they make the purse. This looks so much harder than it is because it is so easy and does not take much time. Once you do it the first time you will not do it any other way. If you ever have wanted to learn how to do this than here you go. A very good tutorial and the pictures showing the steps are so good. So now the next time you want to put snaps on you can do it.
