How to Sew Pockets on a Skirt

Make your skirts more functional and cute by following this How to Sew Pockets on a Skirt sewing tutorial. There are two ways to sew pockets on a skirt: front patch pockets or side seam pockets. The front patch pockets are more casual and would be great to add to your little girl’s skirts. On the other hand, side seam pockets are almost invisible and can be added to skirts you wear to work or to more upscale occasions. Whichever pockets you choose, they’re fully functional and easy to learn how to sew.

This is so great. I have done the outside pockets with no problem but to find a pattern for the inside pocket (I am always losing the pattern piece)when I need it hopeless. Now I can make one without a pattern using this tutorial. I am excited about this. I am even going to use this tutorial for putting pockets in shorts for girl or boy. Anyone else use this freehand pocket yet?

This is such a useful tutorial. For some reason, I personally feel like pockets many any skirt cuter.
