Fuzzy Flannel Receiving Blanket Tutorial

From the Blogger: "This is the perfect gift for any newborn or mum-to-be. If you have little time (maybe a morning or an afternoon) and a little bit of sewing experience (but not necessarily a lot), a receiving blanket is so easy to make. So, what do you need? With two complementary flannel fabrics and bias binding, you could have a quick and easy newborn gift. It only takes a couple of hours to complete since you only need to cut and sew two rows of stitching. Making a swaddling blanket couldn't get much easier."

Who would not love to receive a homemade blanket for their new baby. You can always use one and a homemade gift is special too. You can pick out your own fabric and coorninate it with the nursery colors. Never made one before then check out this tutorial. It is so simple and easy and I love the idea for rounding the corners. What fabrics will you use?

What a cute pattern combination. This is an adorable blanket. I am definitely partial to the alpacas but it would look great in many other fabric patterns.
