A bolero makes for a charming evening cover-up for bare shoulders. I would definitely make this with elbow length sleeves or shorter instead of sleeveless. The draft your own pattern in the tutorial is a little challenging but doable. The photos that accompany the tutorial are however helpful in crafting the DIY pattern.
