In this How to Sew: Jacket Alteration Part 2 sewing video, Mary Beth Temple will show you how to hem a jacket sleeve.
The jacket she is working with has decorative buttons, but she can pop the buttons off in order to shorten the sleeve.
There will be a small overlap in the sleeve from where the buttons were, but it will look good with a little sewing ingenuity. That's why it's important to get lessons from someone with so much experience. Nothing is a surprise!
