All seams are 1/4" and your exterior and interior fabrics are 13"x 15". The great thing about this tote is that you can make it to be any size you'd like, bigger or smaller than what is shown here. Also, you can make it seasonal or holiday-specific, depending on the type of fabric you choose. I hope you enjoy it."

A nice and quite easy way to zzzhooosh up a plain tote and give it more of a stylish look. And the options are absolutely endless. So I am already looking at 2 of my plain totes and deciding what embellishments to add so that they look more interesting. When I found myself looking at some of our plain pillowcases too I decided it was probably better to limit myself to the totes. For now, lol!

I love to make bags of all shapes and sizes and but I have not seen one that had woven ribbon on the front of it. The ribbon gives this bag a certain pop and it is so different than the rest. I cannot believe how easy it is and just adds a little more time but not much. This tutorial with step by step pictures makes it so easy to make. You can even use ribbon with colors of seasons,plaids,sayings,characters, etc.... You could even change the design of the ribbon to create your own. This is going on my lists of favorites. Thanks.
