Candy Cane Christmas Face Mask Tutorial
Make a sweet DIY face mask using candy cane fabric and bright ribbon ties!

This "Candy Cane Christmas" DIY face mask is created from the same pattern and instructions as our "Gingerbread Jewels" mask. Candy cane colored beads using fabric adhesive glue are placed on the corners and red sparkly beads are glued to the holly on the candy canes.
Sparkly red ribbon is sewn on the top and bottom of the masks and threaded through silver pony beads for ease in tightening the mask around the ears. This Christmas-inspired fabric face mask is perfect for all of your winter activities and celebrations.
Not only is this cloth face mask multi-layered, which matches the CDC guidelines, but it's an elegant and joyful design that will jump-start your holiday season. Scroll down to learn how to make your own!

Candy Cane Christmas Face Mask
Enjoy creating your masks! The muslin fabric is used for lining the masks and provides comfort as it is breathable and softer than most fabrics. Pony beads add ease and comfort to adjust the masks. Pull the ribbons through the pony beads to loosen or tighten to fit around the ears.
No more elastic hurting the ears and the ribbons look much prettier. Another idea is to use eyeglass strands to attach to the corner of the masks. Have fun creating and blinging out your masks!
How to Make a Candy Cane Mask:
-
Refer to the drawn pattern template below. Place pattern on fold of fabric and cut one each out of both the candy cane and muslin fabric. The dimensions are 5" x 10". At top of the mask, fold fabric with right sides together so dashed lines meet the back and front of fabric and sew together on dashed lines.

Make the Entire Holiday Mask Set!
Our "White Sparkles" face mask is a pattern like a standard mask. The "Gingerbread Jewels" mask and "Candy Cane Christmas" (above) are wider face masks. The "Snowmen Angels" design is a shorter width face mask.
All four styles fit and look great on all facial features. It is all about your creativity and making them unique to your own brand and personality. These styles can fit all faces and are hand washable.
