Would of been nice to know the name of that tool.

I found my braid tool on Eleanor Burns sight. It is called Braid In A Day and you can buy the tool there reasonable. It comes with a booklet of instructions. I love it.

So why is an advanced pattern in a link to easy beginner quilts? Disappointing!

I decided to try this pattern in black background prints and white background prints... all black and white with no solids. It is going well and looks great- every time someone sees it, they ask if it is for them... that tells me something!! Very good pattern! Thanks!

There is a great new tool out there that allows you to square off one end of the braid strips so as to eliminate the trimming at the end! Works great and makes this pattern even easier and more fun!

So pretty and such a versatile pattern. I suggest playing around with the fabric layout before you sew it together-you just might be surprised with some of the illusions you can create simply by changing up the color values and adding solids.
