Using this type of fleece fabric is great on baby's skin and the warmth is nice too.... Fabric stores often run great sales on fleece and you could easily make this project up very cost effectively. Of course there are different types of fleece, so it is best to get a type that won't pill or wear out in spots of contact. These are so many cute patterns to choose from too! Great project, thanks for sharing!

Love this and is soooo easy to make. Found material to coordinate with the carseat. Also made a carseat blanket swaddle, bib, crinkle ribbon toy and a stuffed bunny all to match. We receive comments whereever we go on how great it looks and are asked where did we buy it. My daughter loves saying "my mother made it for us." Makes me feel good too. this set was made in cotton, will make another set in fleece as the weather cools. Would also make a great shower gift if you know was stroller they are going to use. Only used 2 yards of each material.
