I saw a really easy way to do the pinwheel quilt top yesterday on here. It was sew simple i may try it for my next Quilt. She bought per cut squares and sewed them all the way around then she used a ruler to make a line down the middle and used her cutter to cut it in the middle. then she ironed the small squares openedand then it was just a matter of pieceing them the right way and sewing them together. Really quite simple.

Dresden plate quilts how to do?sewing machine .

Why can't get the patterns?

very cool I want to do this

Great ideas, love the sunshine quilt to use up scrapes.

It's called a Dresden Plate. I've found the easiest way to make one is to use the Easy Dresden Tool. Without it, my pieces wouldn't ever line up quite right. The tool comes with all the measurements you need for different sized blocks and walks you through piecing it all together. You should be able to find it at pretty much any fabric/quilting store for just a few dollars. Hope that helps!

Does anyone have the formula for a quilt that has a sunburst pattern that looks like men's ties laid in a circle. I can't find the name of the pattern.

http://www.patternsfromhistory.com/colonial_revival/dresden-pattern.htm I hope that helps. Happy quilting!!
