I am a beginner. I've never used a sewing machine in my life. I need to learn from the very beginning. Is there a video I can watch?

Check out the page that's about learning all about sewing machines: https://www.allfreesewing.com/Basics-and-Tutorials/How-to-Use-a-Sewing-Machine-Learning-to-Sew-on-a-Machine

As a beginner I have found it quite daunting downloading some of the patterns and have pushed them aside. The tutorials and videos are perfect, they take you step by step through the basics and even though I have watched them I stillborn refer back when I am stuck. They are a must for anyone who thinks they can't make their own clothing, thank you for such a great resource.

craftedbyfox I totally agree with you. The videos are the best way to learn how to sew and believe it or not even after sewing for 40 years you can still find some good tips. I always check the videos to see if their is a new or faster way to sew a project. Allfreesewing.com has got some real awesome videos with the tutorials and also for quilting too. Do yourself a favor and watch them all. I myself have learned a lot.
